MAJOR CAR SERVICE

What is a Major Car Service?

A major service at Kennings is a comprehensive inspection of your vehicle, covering everything from the fuel filter and spark plugs to the brake pads. We recommend a major service every 12 months or 12,000 miles, but you should always refer to your manufacturer’s servicing schedules. If you’re unsure, please call your nearest centre, and one of our trained technicians will be happy to assist.

What Does a Major Car Service Include?

Our comprehensive Major Car Service includes checking everything from seat belt operation to the exhaust system, brake pipes to suspension springs. We also replace the engine oil, oil filter, engine air filter, pollen filter, and spark plugs (where required), top up fluids, and lubricate grease nipples.

Is It Worth Getting a Major Car Service?

Regular maintenance can help you avoid costly repair bills by identifying problems early. Additionally, having a major-service history can enhance the resale value of your vehicle, as prospective buyers can see when and where maintenance has been carried out.
