What is an Interim Car Service?
An interim car service at Kennings includes oil renewal and filter replacement, along with several visual system checks, such as suspension springs, brake pads, and discs. It also involves topping up fluids for your power steering reservoir, anti-freeze, and washer fluid.
Do I Need an Interim Service?
Our interim service is ideal for high-mileage drivers seeking peace of mind between annual services or for those who frequently make short journeys around town. Many new vehicles will alert you when a service is due. We always recommend referring to your manufacturer’s handbook or contacting one of our centres for guidance.
What is the Difference Between Interim and Full Service?
A full service is a more comprehensive inspection of your vehicle, featuring a 53-point check that includes replacing air filters, pollen filters, external fuel filters, and spark plugs (where required). We recommend a full service every 12 months or 12,000 miles, but you should always refer to your manufacturer’s servicing schedules.
